Monica Cole: No Matter How Lovingly We Tell Gays That They’re “Perverted Abominations,” People Still Hate Us

Just in from hate group leader Monica Cole:

One Million Moms is under attack after our recent campaigns. However, this is nothing new to us. In fact, it’s expected when it comes to proclaiming the truth of what the Scripture teaches. Backlash comes with the territory. Even though negative comments regarding 1MM will not deter us from our mission, we thought our supporters should know what is being said about our ministry.

The liberal media is sure giving 1MM a lot of coverage right now. So we can’t help but ask: Why all the coverage by the liberal media if they consider 1MM an “insignificant organization?” It can only mean that we must be doing something right, and 1MM will continue to do what’s right by fighting the good fight and standing up for truth.

This liberal backlash comes on the heels of 1MM’s petition to PBS Kids after the announcement that Sesame Street will feature a drag queen activist wearing a gender-bender tuxedo gown in one of its episodes this year. Sesame Street posted on its Facebook page: “Billy Porter bringing those fierce vibes to Sesame Street. #Season51”

As Christians, we cannot expect those who are lost to act as though they are saved. But it is important to know exactly how 1MM, Christians, and conservatives are being portrayed in the liberal media. It seems no matter how gracious and loving we are in sharing the truth of Scripture, the secular world will always portray us in a negative light.

PBS KIDS and drag queen activist Billy Porter are hurting our families by sharing lies under the guise of kindness and love. Yes, we are to love one another but also hold others accountable and speak out against sin. 1MM finds it dangerous to share lies, deceit, and what God calls an abomination camouflaged as friendship, kindness, and inclusivity.

One Million Moms will continue standing up for what is right, and that includes warning parents that perversion and unnatural sexuality is being broadcast on Public Broadcasting Service using primarily taxpayers’ dollars to indoctrinate very young and impressionable children – Sesame Street’s target audience.
