New York City’s Pix 11 reports:
Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop announced the city is putting a curfew on bars and nightclubs in the city starting this weekend and through next week amid coronavirus concerns.
The mayor made the announcement in an interview with PIX11’s Dan Mannarino just a day after announcing the cancellation of all city-sponsored and city-involved events.
“Those are uncontrolled environments,” Fulop said. “The nightclubs and bars attract a lot of people and we classify that as uncontrolled.”
