The latest victim of the COVID-19 coronavirus are bars and restaurants. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker announced Sunday afternoon they are to be closed for two weeks. This closure is for dining in and details are being worked out to keep the kitchens open for delivery or carryout meals. He went on to say there are now 93 cases confirmed in the state.
BREAKING: Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker will order all restaurants across the state to be closed to dine-in customers in a further attempt to curb the coronavirus. Delivery and drive up will remain open. This’ll be effective end of business tomorrow. @chicagotribune
