CNN prime time anchor Chris Cuomo has tested positive for coronavirus. The Cuomo Prime Time made the announcement via Twitter Tuesday morning. Cuomo anchored his 9 p.m. ET hour Monday night from his home, and he says he will continue to do so as long as he is feeling well.
Cuomo, on Twitter, said he’s “had fever, chills and shortness of breath,” and that he’s been “quarantined in my basement” where he will do his CNN and radio shows. “I just hope I didn’t give it to the kids and Cristina,” he added.
Cuomo is the brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who is discussing his brother’s situation at great length during today’s briefing.
