The Washington Examiner reports:
Bernie Sanders debuted a new offensive against Pete Buttigieg as the pair vie for front-runner status in New Hampshire. “I like Pete Buttigieg, nice guy, but we are in a moment where billionaires control not only our economy but our political life,” he said after reading news headlines about the mayor’s acceptance of high-dollar donations.
His 2020 campaign is about “asking the American people to look at our country and the world in a different way,” according to Sanders. “Are you on the side of the working class of this country?” he asked. “Or will you continue to stand with the big money interests?”
