Mar-A-Lago Security Has Cost Local Govt $13.7 Million

The Palm Beach Post reports:

The federal government reimbursed the county nearly $10 million for expenses through September 2018. The county is waiting to be paid for $3.8 million racked up in the fiscal year that ended in October.

Local governments and law enforcement spent $13.7 million to protect President Donald Trump during the 27 visits he and his family made to Mar-a-Lago between his election in November 2016 and Easter of last year, according to county records.

The federal government has already reimbursed the county nearly $10 million for expenses through September 2018. The county is waiting to be paid for the remaining $3.8 million racked up during the fiscal year ending in October 2019.
