CHATTER AWAY: Overnight Open Thread

The 29th Annual DIVAS Simply Singing Benefit will take place December 1 at the Taglyan Cultural Center in Los Angeles. Founded by Tony nominee Sheryl Lee Ralph, the benefit aims to end stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS and raise awareness of the illness’s impact on people around the world. This year’s event will include special performances from Brandon Victor Dixon, Deborah Cox, Chrissy Metz, Frankie Grande, and more.

The performers will pay tribute to the recipient of this years’ DIVAS Legacy Award, songwriter Diane Warren. Warren will be honored at the event for her numerous accolades and significant contributions to the music industry. The evening’s set list will feature some of Warren’s biggest hits, including “Because You Loved Me” sung by Ralph, “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” sung by Dixon, and “I’m Standing With You” sung by Metz.
