The Wall Street Journal reports:
The Trump Organization is exploring a sale of the rights to the company’s opulent Washington, D.C., hotel, a move it says is motivated partly by criticism that the Trumps are flouting ethics laws by profiting from the property.
President Trump’s family business has hired the real estate firm JLL to market the Trump International Hotel, Eric Trump, an executive vice president at the Trump Organization, told the Wall Street Journal on Friday.

Wow… Trumps to sell DC hotel
And Eric Trump admits it’s partly due to ethics concerns that have been raised.
At least that’s how I translate this: “People are objecting to us making so much money on the hotel + therefore we may be willing to sell.”https://t.co/K1rPehEUHw

Eric Trump tells @WSJ of the Trump Hotel in DC: “People are objecting to us making so much money on the hotel, and therefore we may be willing to sell.”
Those objections began more than three years ago, before the 2016 election. https://t.co/7Zz7gMlguN
