Back in August, DeMaio announced his challenge of indicted GOP House Rep. Duncan Hunter.

Since then former GOP Rep. Darrell Issa has joined the race, meaning that DeMaio’s campaign is now just a vanity project.

Longtime readers will recall that I covered Carl DeMaio’s previous scandal-plagued and failed runs extensively.

At one time, the San Diego Voice had to run recaps to keep track of the bizarre scandals, which included accusations of plagiarism, sexual harassment, and masturbation in the presence of a staffer.
