Brownsville’s NBC News affiliate reports:
The Harlingen Police Department arrested a man in reference to a threat he posted on social media. Allegedly, Jose Luis Gonzales Jr. used social media to threaten a Harlingen Walmart on August 11th.
Gonzales was found and placed under arrest and charged with terroristic threat, a 3rd degree felony.
“During the course of this investigation, officers learned that a male subject had used a social media site to post up an imminent threat that was to occur at the Walmart in Harlingen on a specific date,” police said.
