Just in via press release:
On Sept. 14, the Freedom March will be holding its fifth event at Walt Disney Amphitheater Lake Eola in Orlando, Florida. The Freedom March is an event where former LGBTQ individuals share their testimonies of overcoming these lifestyles through Jesus Christ. Jeffrey McCall is the founder of the event.
“While speaking at event in D.C., I thought, Why don’t we have an event where people who formerly lived LGBTQ lifestyles could share their stories on how Jesus delivered them? I wanted it to be outdoors and then for us to march after the event publicly proclaiming Jesus Christ!” McCall says.
A new element of this Freedom March will be water baptisms. “We are inviting all people who are born again that day to also be water baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit! We know if the presence of God shows up, lives will be transformed!” says McCall.
As you may recall, this same group’s heavily-hyped march in Washington DC turned out a whopping 70 attendees, which by the magic of Jesus became “hundreds” in reports on Christian websites.
The location of the Orlando march was surely chosen because the city’s iconic Lake Eola bandshell was repainted in rainbow stripes to honor victims of the Pulse Massacre.
