Cuomo Threatens Man After Confrontation [VIDEO]

CNN reports:

A profanity-laced video surfaced Monday night showing CNN anchor Chris Cuomo threatening to throw a man down the stairs for calling him “Fredo,” referring to the fictional character Fredo Corleone from “The Godfather” films.

But the core of the backlash centered on one claim from Cuomo: that calling an Italian person “Fredo” was comparable to using the n-word — an assertion that had many Italian Americans scratching their heads and other critics calling Cuomo out of bounds.

“Are any of you Italian?” Cuomo asked the group of men involved in the confrontation. “It’s an insult to your people. It’s like the n-word for us.” On Monday night, CNN also said it stood by the host.

USA Today reports:

“Punk (expletive) from the right call me ‘Fredo.’ My name is Chris Cuomo. I’m an anchor on CNN,” the television host said during the NSFW video that was shared on Twitter. The journalist explained that the “disparaging” term is from the 1972 film “The Godfather,” referring to Fredo Corleone, who Cuomo said is “a weak brother.”

As the conversation escalated, Cuomo added: “I’ll (expletive) ruin your (expletive). I’ll (expletive) throw you down these stairs like a (expletive) punk … you’re gonna call me Fredo, take a (expletive) swing?”

The footage was first shared by conservative media personality Brandon Straka on his YouTube channel, “That’s the Point with Brandon.” He claims the man Cuomo threatened is a Trump supporter who believed the anchor’s real name was “Fredo.”

Brandon Straka, you may recall, is the douchebag homocon behind the alleged #WalkAway movement.

UPDATE: Straka’s video has been removed by YouTube in the minutes since I published this post. You can see the clip in a tweet below.
