The El Paso Times reports:
The El Paso Police Department said Saturday that an active shooting incident was reported at the Walmart in Cielo Vista Mall area. Police say there are reports of multiple shooters in the attack.
A police spokesman said the shooting is still active and said no one will be allowed into the area. Police are conducting a large-scale search of the area for the suspects.
Stores in the area have been put into lockdown, including at the Fountains of Farah, whichi is across the street from Cielo Vista Mall. KTSM said 18 people have been shot, although the El Paso Times has not been able to confirm that. Residents are being told to avoid the area.
