ABC News reports:
President Donald Trump on Wednesday night continued his days-long attack on four congresswomen at a rally in Greenville, North Carolina, where a raucous crowd chanted, “Sent them back!” and “Traitor!”
Just at the mere mention of Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., and Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass, the thousands of supporters gathered at the president’s campaign rally launched into prolong boos.
He called out Tlaib for using the “F word” to describe his presidency, adding, “That’s not nice, even for me.” And yet, the president himself used profanity earlier in his speech, complaining about the “bullsh–” his administration has gone through, referring to the special counsel investigation.
CNN reports:
President Trump was interrupted by a protester just as he was beginning his comments on “the Squad” at a rally in Greenville, North Carolina.
The protester was holding two small printouts with a photo of Trump with Jeffrey Epstein, with the words “CHILD RAPIST” across. Federal prosecutors in New York charged Epstein with sex trafficking of minors and sex trafficking conspiracy. He has pleaded not guilty.
He was removed in a more aggressive manner than most protesters and pulled down behind a sign where he remained for a while as supporters took pictures. He was removed moments later with his hands behind his back.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.-Maya Angelou https://t.co/46jcXSXF0B

After last night’s appalling rally, it would be a genuine act of patriotism for Republican elected officials today to denounce both Trump’s rhetoric and the crowd’s chants. They need to do so both for the honor of their party, but, far more important, for the sake of our country.

Lot if vitriol from @realDonaldTrump towards @PeteButtigieg

I have covered fascist rallies and Trump rallies.
This Trump rally was a fascist rally.

The crowd at Trump’s rally chanting “send her back” after the President viciously and dishonestly attacked Ilhan Omar is one of the most chilling and horrifying things I’ve ever seen in politics.

For the record “send” is a massive leap forward from voluntarily “leave.” For the president to bask in the chant while his race rally calls for the removal of a sitting congresswoman from the country is a historical moment you should remember. https://t.co/6MtqSLgnW4
