The first full-length trailer for His Dark Materials was released during Comic-Con this week, showcasing Ruth Wilson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and other stars of stage and screen.

In the trailer, the world from Philip Pullman’s trilogy is shown, with Wilson’s Marisa Coulter highlighted. His Dark Materials follows Lyra Belacqua (Dafne Keen) as she stumbles upon a series of secrets kept by Coulter and Lord Asriel (Olivier nominee James McAvoy).

Miranda is shown fighting as Lee Scoresby, a mysterious character who helps Lyra escape. During the Comic-Con panel, Miranda added that his character’s first scene is a duet as he flies in on a balloon.
