By now, it’s a well-known fact that politicians and social media go hand-in-hand. The latest politician to illustrate this is Bernie Sanders, who has been extremely active on Instagram.
The US senator for Vermont, and potential Democrat presidential candidate, took to Instagram on Sunday and shared the bizarre video in an effort to raise money for his fundraising campaign ahead of its midnight deadline.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “Want to really scare Trump? Help us show the strength of our campaign to defeat him—chip in before our fundraising deadline at midnight at the link in bio.”
The actual incident took place in early 2016 when a man startled Trump by rushing the campaign rally stage. The trolling video is not unlike some Trump has posted himself.
