The Week reports:
President Trump is planning on threatening to impose tariffs on Mexico if the country does not crack down on Central American migrants trying to seek asylum in the United States, three administration officials said on Thursday. While one official said most of the administration supports the idea, others said several White House aides are trying to talk Trump out of it, saying this could hurt financial markets and stand in the way of passing the USMCA trade deal.
As you can see below, the naysayers went unheeded.
On June 10th, the United States will impose a 5% Tariff on all goods coming into our Country from Mexico, until such time as illegal migrants coming through Mexico, and into our Country, STOP. The Tariff will gradually increase until the Illegal Immigration problem is remedied,..
