The Rising reports:
Joe Biden leads President Trump by six points, according to the first poll published after the former vice president officially announced his candidacy Thursday. The April 25-26 Hill-HarrisX survey of 1,000 registered voters found that 43 percent said they would choose Biden while 37 percent said they would pick Trump. Fifteen percent of respondents said they were unsure and 5 percent said they would vote for another candidate.
In the survey, Trump had his strongest support among older voters. He led the former vice president by a slim 43 to 42 percent margin among voters over the age of 50. Biden did his best among voters who were between 35 and 49. Forty-nine percent of respondents in this age group said they would vote for Biden while only 32 percent said they would pick Trump. Another 15 percent said they were unsure.
