The Associated Press reports:
President Donald Trump is spending St. Patrick’s Day morning at church. The president and his wife, first lady Melania Trump, have joined parishioners for Sunday’s 11 a.m. service at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Interim rector W. Bruce McPherson greeted the Trumps as they arrived. Many presidents have worshipped at St. John’s. The yellow church is located across the street from the White House alongside Lafayette Park. The president made the short trip to the church via motorcade.
Trump’s going to church this morning.
He’s on way to St. John’s Lafayette Park, the little yellow Episcopal church near the White House.
Very rare for him to go to Sunday worship. He does occasionally attend holiday services at Bethesda-by-the-Sea when he’s at Mar-a-Lago.
