Roseanne Barr: Michelle Obama Got Me Fired

USA Today reports:

After blaming Ambien, herself (briefly) and anti-Semitism for her 2018 firing after a racist tweet about former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett, Roseanne Barr is now pointing the finger at former first lady Michelle Obama and former ABC programming chief Channing Dungey.

“(Obama) said, ‘This tweet is unforgivable.’ That’s what I was told and I tend to believe it because the woman who fired me is now working with the Obamas at Netflix,” Barr told British newspaper The Times of London.

Barr doubled down on her position that ABC threatened her right to free speech by firing her, calling the network “total Stalinist censorship.” She said ABC told her if she did “one more thing they don’t like, they’ll remove (‘Roseanne’) reruns forever.”
