Raw Story reports:
George Conway, the husband of Trump White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, revealed on Thursday that one of President Donald Trump’s own attorneys told him that he would not let his client talk to special counsel Robert Mueller because he would inevitably perjure himself.
Conway said this as part of a broader discussion about Trump exhibiting multiple traits associated with narcissistic personality disorder, including “a pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), a constant need for admiration, and a lack of empathy.”
Yes. As I said to @sbg1, to understand Trump “you have to look at everything through the prism of his narcissism.” Once you do that, pretty much everything makes sense. https://t.co/EIcB7nr3g7 https://t.co/0akjmamDy6

He lies even when it makes no sense to lie. As one of his lawyers once told me, Trump couldn’t be allowed to talk to Mueller because “he’d lie his ass off.”

Yes. He’s worst kind of dumb. https://t.co/SKDRrPFuJu

Also possible. There’s a clip of Trump online talking to Tom Brokaw thirty years ago and Trump is speaking in complete, coherent sentences. It’s quite a remarkable contrast to today, when all you get are these often incompréhensible word salads. https://t.co/7qvVeSU77C

The only qualifier to this is that his compulsive lying is also important to understand. He lies, as we have seen, about everything, about matters big and small, about things that matter and things that don’t.
