CHATTER AWAY: Overnight Open Thread

Tampa’s Fox affiliate reports:

Just a few hours after a Florida man stole weapons, he posted photos of the items on social media, deputies said. Pasco County deputies said the theft occurred on February 4. Investigators said 23-year-old Steven Jeffcott smashed the back door of the victim’s home to enter. Once inside, he stole a Sieko watch, a shot gun, semi-automatic rifle, and a crossbow.

Four hours later he posted Snapchat photos from a firing range using the stolen items. The victim saw them, recognized the weapons, and contacted the Pasco County Sheriff’s office. Jeffcott was arrested on burglary and theft charges. Back in 2016, he was accused of breaking into a home, making a sandwich, and falling asleep inside the victim’s house.
