The Hill reports:
Conservative firebrand Ann Coulter is weighing in on the Jussie Smollett case, after the “Empire” actor was arrested Thursday on charges he falsely claimed that he was the victim of a racist and homophobic attack.
“Alright, this particular hate crime turned out to be a hoax, but let’s remember, ALL OF THEM are hoaxes. #Smollett,” Coulter tweeted Thursday.
Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said the actor “took advantage of the pain and anger of racism to promote his career. This publicity stunt was a scar that Chicago didn’t earn and certainly didn’t deserve.”
