CBS News reports:
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders is holding a formal press briefing Monday, the first time she has fielded questions in the briefing room since before the government shutdown. The last time Sanders formally fielded questions from reporters in the briefing room was Dec. 18, 2018, four days before government funding lapsed and at a time when James Mattis was still the secretary of defense. Last week, Mr. Trump tweeted an explanation for why the White House had all but stopped holding regular press briefings.
I’ll bump up this post before things start.
The reason Sarah Sanders does not go to the “podium” much anymore is that the press covers her so rudely & inaccurately, in particular certain members of the press. I told her not to bother, the word gets out anyway! Most will never cover us fairly & hence, the term, Fake News!
