President Trump on Thursday called Democrats’ opposition to his proposed border wall “strictly political” and accused the party of seeking an advantage in the 2020 presidential election as a partial government shutdown entered its 13th day.
The tweet echoed comments Trump made during a lengthy and at-times meandering Cabinet meeting a day earlier, when he claimed the government is partially shuttered because “Democrats are looking to 2020.”
The Shutdown is only because of the 2020 Presidential Election. The Democrats know they can’t win based on all of the achievements of “Trump,” so they are going all out on the desperately needed Wall and Border Security – and Presidential Harassment. For them, strictly politics!

You told a roomful of people yesterday you won’t agree to a deal because it would make you look bad.

1) Trump has twice been offered funding for the wall, but he caved to hardliners like Stephen Miller and Ann Coulter who wouldn’t accept any compromise.
2) Basic oversight of the executive branch is not “Presidential Harassment.” It is a fundamental responsibility of Congress.
