Brian Brown: Rep. Tulsi Gabbard Must Apologize For Insulting Americans By Apologizing For Anti-LGBT Past

Just in from hate group leader Brian Brown:

In her statement, she said that she’s come to understand that Christian beliefs in traditional marriage are at odds with the biblical principle that “every person is a child of God and equally loved by God.” She explains in her apology, “For a period of my life I didn’t see the contradiction in those beliefs.” In other words, Rep. Gabbard is saying that countless millions of Americans are living a contradiction in their observance of Christianity by adhering to the biblical understanding of marriage as one man and one woman.

For this, we demand an apology from Rep. Gabbard. Please sign our petition demanding that Rep. Tulsi Gabbard apologize to Christians and all people of good will who support traditional marriage. Rather than being a “contradiction” of biblical beliefs, revering marriage as the union of one man and one woman is unquestionably affirmed in the bible, created by God at the beginning of time, and directly articulated by Jesus Christ himself in the Gospel of Matthew.

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is entitled to her mistaken beliefs. If she chooses to abandon the universal, biblical truth of marriage and human sexuality in favor of cultural vicissitudes, that is her choice. But what she is not entitled to do is to claim that she, Tulsi Gabbard, has somehow discovered an underlying contradiction in the bible and that true Christianity requires an acceptance of that which the bible expressly rejects.

Please sign our petition demanding that Rep. Gabbard apologize for insulting Americans for holding Christian beliefs about marriage and for her suggestion that true Christianity calls for accepting homosexual marriage.

Signing Brown’s petition, needless to say, puts you on his money beg email list. Which is what this is really about. A whopping 608 signatures at this writing. No link because fuck that guy.
