CBS News reports:
President Trump on Tuesday engaged in an extraordinary argument with Democratic congressional leaders over his demand for border-wall funding, threatening a government shutdown if he does not get the money.
“I will be the one to shut it down,” he told House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) at the White House. During the contentious meeting in the Oval Office, Pelosi (D-Calif.) repeatedly asked Trump not to discuss the funding request in front of the news media.
“You will not win,” Pelosi told Trump. The meeting was scheduled to be closed to the press but the White House unexpectedly opened it to reporters just as Pelosi and Schumer were arriving at the White House.
“I would win a vote easily in the House,” on the wall, Trump says.
Pelosi: “You would not win.”

This fight between Trump and Nancy Pelosi on live TV over funding for a border wall is pretty incredible.

Trump tells Pelosi that he "has the votes in the House." Keeps saying the issue is the Senate. He needs 60 votes in the Senate. But so far there are not the votes on the GOP side of the aisle in the House to pass a border wall.

Testy doesn't quite describe this meeting between Trump, Schumer and Pelosi.

White House reporters coming out of the meeting between President Trump, Senator Chuck Schumer and Rep Nancy Pelosi look stunned. I'm told all three were yelling at each other, sparring openly and accusing each other of mischaracterizing comments.

Trump currently mansplaining the legislative process to Nancy Pelosi, who has been in Congress for 31 years, and led her party for the past 11 years.

Trump talking over Pelosi: "We need border security. We need border security."
Nancy Pelosi: "Of course we do."
Trump: "We need the wall….Chuck did you want to say something?"
Chuck: The WaPo gives you pinocchios for misstatements on the wall.
