House Dems To Investigate Ivanka’s Private Email Use

The New York Post reports:

House Democrats plan to probe Ivanka Trump’s use of personal email in the White House to determine whether she violated federal record keeping laws.

“We plan to continue our investigation of the presidential records act and federal records act, and we want to know if Ivanka complied with the law,” a Democratic aide on the House Oversight Committee told The Post Tuesday.

An investigation by the White House found Ivanka, who has an office in the West Wing and is an adviser to her father, conducted business via her personal email address for much of 2017, the Washington Post reported. Democrats take control of the House in January, which means they will have subpoena power to compel witnesses to testify.
