CBS News reports:
President Trump isn’t one to be upstaged — but that wasn’t the case Thursday when rapper Kanye West sat across from him in the Oval Office, and the president was left nearly speechless. “That was quite something. That was quite something,” Mr. Trump said at the end of West’s speech.
West, launching into a roughly 10-minute statement, seemed to make even Mr. Trump speechless, as he waxed about being mistakenly diagnosed as bipolar, about his family situation, and about his support for Mr. Trump. He also said he won’t consider running for president “until 2024,” instead voicing his support for Mr. Trump.
“He might not expect to have a crazy motherf***r like Kanye West support him,” West told those in the room. West said he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but then that he was misdiagnosed, and was simply sleep-deprived.
“I love Hillary. I love everyone, but the campaign ‘I’m with her’ just didn’t make me feel — as a guy … it was something about this hat that made me feel like Superman,” famed musician Kanye West said of his MAGA hat while discussing masculinity, the economy and his brand pic.twitter.com/T06Z5tOSIU

“If he don’t look good, we don’t look good,” Kanye West says of Trump. “This is our president, he has to be the freshest, the flyest, the flyest planes, the best factories and we have to make our core be in power” #tictocnews pic.twitter.com/Go3jd6b8XP

How any serious journalist or news outlet could cover this Kanye West nonsense instead of climate change, voter suppression in Georgia or any number of issues that actually matter and not this fucking bullshit pr stunt by a narcissistic pop star I’ll never know. Shameful.

What has to be one of the most unusual Oval Office meetings ever just ended with Kanye West jumping from seat and hugging Trump. “I love this guy,” Kanye said. pic.twitter.com/A6rD0eVEaT

From Pool Report on #Kanye West and @realDonaldTrump in Oval Office: K went on extended monologues, bangs on Resolute Desk many times. Says his MAGA hat makes him feel like 'Superman'. Says “bullshit” and calls himself a “motherfucker.” Hugs Trump and says “I love you.” #normal
