USA Today reports:
Gab, the social network scrutinized following the shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue that left 11 dead, went offline as service providers suspended accounts and threatened to shut the website down. A message on Gab.com said the website would not be accessible for a period of time as the site shifts to a new hosting provider.
In a statement to multiple outlets, hosting provider GoDaddy confirmed it has given Gab 24 hours to switch providers after claiming the website violated its terms of service. “GoDaddy investigated and discovered numerous instances of content on the site that both promotes and encourages violence against people,” read a statement from GoDaddy.

The left couldn’t control Gab.
The media couldn’t control Gab.
Venture capitalists couldn’t control Gab.
Advertisers couldn’t control Gab.
Whining activists couldn’t control Gab.
Big Tech couldn’t control Gab.
So Gab needed to be smeared and taken offline at all costs.

We cater to freedom.
There’s something deeply unnerving watching verified nobodies generalize and attack a community of 800,000 people from around the world while being no-platformed off the internet to the cheers of tyrants like you. https://t.co/DGsihtmfEQ

Dan goes on national TV spewing falsehoods about free speech to millions of people and smearing Gab, now he is aiming to get us banned from Twitter. Sad individual and propagandist. https://t.co/Q5AHXFjfgP

If @GoDaddy steals a six figure domain from us you can be sure we will take legal action to the fullest extent of the law. https://t.co/JqcajGXrcx
