CHATTER AWAY: Overnight Open Thread

Newsweek reports:

A Florida man who believed he was meeting a teen girl for sex told police upon his arrest he came to the area because he “thought it would be cool” to see a sex sting in action.

James Bowen, 34, who is a co-owner of Bob’s Barber Shop in Gainesville, was one of seven men detained by officers from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office as part of an undercover operation designed to target internet predators, code named “Operation Unlawful Attraction.”

He was arrested at a RaceTrac gas station in Deltona after exchanging sexually charged chats and texts with an undercover detective he believed was a 14-year-old girl. Video footage released by police showed he was wearing a T-shirt that read: “I would cuddle you so much harder.”
