USA Today reports:
Whoopi Goldberg has had enough. Fox News personality and former judge Jeanine Pirro visited the set of “The View” Thursday morning to promote her new book, “Liars, Leakers and Liberals: The Case Against the Anti-Trump Conspiracy.” But there wasn’t much discussion about the upcoming book after Pirro made a comment to co-host Goldberg, who had been trying to ask Pirro a question about the president.
“You suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome,” Pirro said, pointing at Goldberg. The term, which stemmed from “Bush Derangement Syndrome,” has been used by Trump supporters to suggest that those who do not support the president are unable to think clearly and logically about the state of the country.
“Let me tell you what I have,” Goldberg began. “I’m tired of people starting a conversation with ‘Mexicans are liars and rapists.’ I’m 62 years old. There have been a lot of people in office that I didn’t agree with. But I have never, ever seen anything like this. I have never seen anybody whip up such hate. I have never seen anybody be so dismissive.”
Whoopi then ripped up her cue cards, telling Pirro, “Say goodbye. I’m done.” After the break, Whoopi apologized for losing her cool. Watch the clip.
