British Tabloids Savage Trump’s Visit: Fake Schmooze

As President Donald Trump jetted off to Scotland, leaving behind his rollicking three day jaunt in England, British tabloids were prepping their Saturday papers. And their front covers didn’t hold back. The Sun — Rupert Murdoch‘s tabloid that snagged an exclusive interview with the U.S. president — decried his praise of U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May as a “FAKE SCHMOOZE”. The Daily Mirror, another British tabloid, was more scathing in its take on Trump’s trip, using a photo of the U.S. president cheesing for a photo whilst sat in Winston Churchill’s famed leather chair. “HOW DARE YOU…” blared the Mirror’s front page.
