The Hill reports:
President Trump said that Washington Post employees should go on strike in a tweet Sunday morning, saying the move means “we would get rid of Fake News for an extended period of time.”
His tweet came shortly after The Post reported that former Trump campaign adviser Roger Stone met with a Russian during the 2016 campaign who offered dirt on Hillary Clinton in exchange for $2 million.
More than 400 Washington Post employees signed an open letter to newspaper owner and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos on Thursday, calling his current offer of a $10 pay raise and no changes to retirement benefits “unfair.”
Washington Post employees want to go on strike because Bezos isn’t paying them enough. I think a really long strike would be a great idea. Employees would get more money and we would get rid of Fake News for an extended period of time! Is @WaPo a registered lobbyist?

We’ve now got it on record that President Trump supports labor strikes for higher wages. https://t.co/esIL9BMn97

No one at The Post has heard anything about any strike, so why would Trump make that up? Some answers in this piece on Trump’s antagonism toward Bezos: https://t.co/7EL9lMagAG https://t.co/MBYj13UQ7b
