CHATTER AWAY: Overnight Open Thread

Today in air travel news:

Crystal Tadlock told KDVR-TV she wasn’t hungry when the flight attendant gave out apples to passengers at the end of her trip from Paris this month. She put the apple in her bag so she could eat it later. But when she went through customs, an agent pulled out the apple wrapped in a plastic bag with the Delta logo on it.

“He had asked me if my trip to France was expensive and I said, ‘yeah,’” she told the TV station. “I didn’t really get why he was asking that question, and then he said ‘It’s about to get a lot more expensive after I charge you $500.’” Tadlock said Delta shouldn’t have given away the apples or at least reminded the passengers they couldn’t take fruit off the plane.
