CHATTER AWAY: Overnight Open Thread

News on this summer’s hottest show from Broadway Cares:

Broadway Bares: Game Night, the annual striptease spectacular benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will take place June 17 at 9:30 PM and midnight at the Hammerstein Ballroom. The performances will feature more than 150 of the most talented dancers in New York City.

The show will be directed by Nick Kenkel, co-choreographer of the upcoming Half Time at Paper Mill Playhouse, and Laya Barak, a dancer and choreographer whose work has appeared in the last four editions of Broadway Bares. Aaron Hamilton is the associate director. Broadway Bares: Game Night will put a seductive spin on games you know and love, from a pulsating poke at pinball to saucy virtual reality video games.

Broadway Bares was created in 1992 by Tony winner Jerry Mitchell, then a Broadway dancer, as a way to raise awareness and money for those living with HIV/AIDS. Last year, Broadway Bares raised $1,568,114. Together, all of the editions of Broadway Bares have raised more than $17.4 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
