World Net Daily is extremely freaked out about the Stormy Daniels interview set to air on 60 Minutes on Sunday, March 25th, at 7PM Eastern. An excerpt:
Did the president have a brief affair with a porn star in 2006? I’m sure no one would be surprised to discover that he did. Will “60 Minutes” run an interview with Stormy Daniels? If so, what can it possibly tell us that we don’t already know? Daniels is a whore who sees herself as a “star” and wants to publicize her experience with Trump to polish that star and increase her income.
No, she doesn’t turn tricks for money. The definition of a whore is someone who engages in sex for money. Daniels has explicit sex in front of the cameras for money. That makes her a super-whore. Furthermore, she directs others who do the same, not exactly a candidate for sainthood.
If we stoop to watching that interview, if and when it airs, we are guilty of voyeurism. What does that make “60 Minutes”? Little more than entertainment appealing to our most basic prurient interests. I sincerely hope that CBS does not degrade “60 Minutes” by running the Daniels interview. According to Daniels’ own account, NBC would not put a “porn star” on “The Apprentice,” even at Trump’s urging, so why would “60 Minutes” give her a forum on its premier news magazine?
Should it run, it will not hurt the president. The affair supposedly happened 12 years ago. Those who back his policies will continue to back him, and those who hate him likely will continue to do so. It will, however, hurt the first lady, who seems like a decent, caring individual. No doubt she has had to come to terms with her husband’s alleged indiscretion. It will also hurt his children.
