Trump Lawyer Sends Warning Letter To Stormy After Her Televised Claim Of Being Physically Threatened

Fox News reports:

The lawyer for Michael Cohen, President Trump’s personal attorney, sent adult film star Stormy Daniels a cease and desist letter late Sunday following her interview with “60 Minutes” where she spoke about her alleged affair with Trump and claimed she faced threats to her safety.

Brent Blakely, Cohen’s attorney, demanded that Daniels apologize for insinuating that his client was behind the threat she described that allegedly took place in a Las Vegas parking lot in 2011.

Daniels said in the interview that an unidentified man told her: “Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.” She said she was with her daughter at the time and the man continued, “That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.”

CBS News reports:

A night before CBS News’ “60 Minutes” aired its interview with Stephanie Clifford, better known as the adult film actress Stormy Daniels, President Trump had dinner with Michael Cohen, his longtime personal attorney. According to Clifford, Cohen paid her $130,000 in return for her silence about her alleged affair with President Trump.

Mr. Trump had dinner with Cohen Saturday night, CBS News’ Major Garrett reports. A day later, “60 Minutes” aired its interview with Clifford, in which she detailed what she claimed was a sexual encounter with Mr. Trump in 2006. Mr. Trump denies the affair, and his lawyers are now threatening to sue her for breaching an agreement to not discuss the matter.
