James Woods, governor of California? Why not? The Golden State has a long history of electing leaders from the deep end of thespian pool. From Ronald Reagan to Arnold Schwarzenegger, Californian voters actually seem to enjoy casting ballots for Republican actors.

And with likely Democratic Party nominee Gavin Newsom not appearing to give a damn about anything beyond naked political ambition, why not draft someone far more intelligent than any predecessor in that office?

Are you thinking what I’m thinking? That James Woods would blow Pretty Boy Floyd, aka Gavin Newsom, right out of the gubernatorial waters? That a debate between Newsom, Antonio Villaraigosa, Tom Steyer or any of the other left-wing Democrat wannabes ends very badly for anyone other than Woods?
