From the right wing Washington Times:
Kellyanne Conway said Friday the Democrats are the ones to blame for the shutdown, arguing that they will are hurting more than President Trump with their actions.
“It really is regrettable that Democrats are willing to shutdown the government — which means not just saying no to President Trump, but saying no to our military, saying no to a longer-term extension on the Children’s Health Insurance Program, saying no to federal workers getting their paychecks,” Mrs. Conway, counselor to the president, said on Fox News.
She said she does not think Republicans will be blamed for the possible shutdown and that they will actually do well in the coming midterms: “2018 looks very differently than 2010.”

Kellyanne Conway on Fox: “I find it really regrettable that for petty partisan political reasons and also as an audition for 2020, playing to the left wing base you have otherwise responsible members of the Senate being willing to shut down the government for this reason.”

.@KellyannePolls: “The Democrats are on the wrong side of history. In the space of a month they voted against a historic tax cut… And now they’ll be on the wrong side of history in saying no to military funding, no to funding children’s health program.” pic.twitter.com/txdWfZF3gI

Kellyanne Conway: “What’s different is by 2010, even in 2014, you had Democrats trying to justify their votes for Obamacare, for the Affordable Care Act, which wasn’t wearing well.”

Kellyanne Conway: “This is different with the tax cuts. Republicans are going to run on the tax cuts and they are going to show what unified government looks like. And the tax cuts are wearing well, because people were lied to. They were lied to for months.”
