If only CNN or MSNBC would launch an on-screen lie counter:
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will stand at her favorite podium on Thursday afternoon for the daily press briefing. Today’s press briefing will begin at 1:30 p.m. EST. Today could be a rare day that forces Sanders to answer questions on policy, and not whatever President Donald Trump was tweeting in the middle of the night.
The dominant theme will likely be the president’s move to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, along with plans to transfer the American embassy from Tel Aviv to the Holy City. There’s also the looming tax reform bill, which has now passed both houses of Congress.
Of course, this is Donald Trump we are talking about here. There is plenty of scandal to go around, which will likely be addressed by members of the White House press corps.
