Neo-Nazis Seek Anniversary Rally In Charlottesville

The Charlottesville Daily Progress reports:

The man who organized the large white nationalist rally in Charlottesville that turned fatal last August has filed for a permit to hold a similar event in the city next summer.

According to an image of the application that was published on his website, Jason Kessler applied Monday to hold another rally to protest against “government civil rights abuse” and to memorialize “the sacrifices made by political dissidents” at a rally in Emancipation Park on Aug. 12.

The failed Unite the Right Aug. 12 rally resulted in uncontrolled street violence between rally-goers and counter-protesters. Police ended the rally before noon that day after Gov. Terry McAuliffe declared a state of emergency.

Just for fun, here’s Kessler being chased and tackled when he tried to hold a press conference after the murder.
