The Hill reports:
President Trump early Monday cited a report claiming the Obama campaign paid the law firm that routed money to the research firm behind the controversial and unverified dossier that alleges connections between Trump and the Kremlin.
The president is referencing a report from the conservative website The Federalist that says Obama’s campaign paid $972,000 to the law firm that passed the transaction between the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and the research firm Fusion GPS.
Report out that Obama Campaign paid $972,000 to Fusion GPS. The firm also got $12,400,000 (really?) from DNC. Nobody knows who OK’d!

Why do you make such a big deal out of this. Opposition research is not a crime. Hillary is not President. Obama is not President. They didn’t interfere with the election because the dossier wasn’t released until after the election
