Ivanka Trump: During My “Punk Phase” I Cried For 24 Hours When Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain Committed Suicide

Uh huh. The New York Daily News reports:

The First Daughter had a “punk phase” in the ‘90s, had a love of the grunge rock band, wore flannel shirts and dyed her hair blue, she reveals in her mother’s memoir.

“My wardrobe consisted of ripped corduroy jeans and flannel shirts,” Ivanka wrote in a chapter of Ivana Trump’s “Raising Trump,” which was released on Oct. 10.

Ivanka recalled she cried a full day after Nirvana’s front man Kurt Cobain had committed suicide in 1994. She was 12-years-old at that time. “It was a shock and I was distraught,” she wrote. “Mom had no idea who Kurt Cobain was, and she sympathized only so much.”

“After twenty-four hours of my crying inconsolably in my room, alone—major melodrama—Mom had to pull me out of there to go down to dinner,” the first daughter concluded.
