The Hill reports:
White House counselor Kellyanne Conway previewed President Trump’s upcoming, first appearance before the U.N. General Assembly this week, saying he would promote global leadership and sovereignty at the international body.
“He will be promoting peace, he will be promoting prosperity, and the president will be promoting sovereignty and accountability,” Conway said on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” on Sunday. It is the president’s chance to present his “America first” stance to a global governing body that he has criticized in the past.
“We’ll be the reaffirmation of America’s global leadership. This is not a president who will apologize for America. This is a president who will affirm America’s standing in the world,” she continued.
