Breitbart Calls For Boycotting Uber After Company Sues Renegade Ad Agency To Keep Their Ads Off Breitbart

Via Breitbart:

Ride-sharing company Uber has demanded that their advertisements be removed from Breitbart News claiming that they want “nothing to do with” the website.

Uber demanded that any advertisements for their app be removed from Breitbart News earlier this year. However, Uber is now claiming that the advertising agency used to publish their ads on the internet continued to publish Uber ads on Breitbart.

Uber filed a lawsuit against the advertising agency Fetch in a California court on Monday for failing to remove the advertisements from Breitbart.

An Uber spokesperson claimed, “Fetch was running a wild west of online advertising fraud, allowing Uber ads on websites we wanted nothing to do with.”

It seems that Uber is so determined to remove their advertisements from Breitbart that they do not want readers of one of the most popular websites on the Internet as customers.

As you can see above, today the activist Twitter account Sleeping Giants reached another landmark in their campaign to drive advertisers away from Breitbart.
