As He Often Does When Under Fire, Trump Abruptly Announces Campaign Rally Before His Adoring Fans

The Hill reports:

President Trump is scheduled to hold a rally next week in Arizona. The rally will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Phoenix Convention Center, according to a news release.

Trump has already held a number of campaign rallies since his inauguration earlier this year. Earlier this month, he held an event in West Virginia as he sought to fire up supporters as his administration struggled to advance his agenda.

The announcement of the Arizona rally comes as Trump is facing controversy over his response to the violent clashes this past weekend in Charlottesville, Va. On Tuesday, the president held a defiant press conference in which he said there is “blame on both sides” for the deadly violence this past weekend in Charlottesville, Va.
