Just hours after ousting his newly appointed communications director, President Trump tweeted that Monday was “a great day at the White House.” Trump expressed the sentiment in a single tweet, which came just hours after the ouster of White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, who had took the job just 10 days ago.

Earlier Monday, Trumo hosted his first Medal of Honor ceremony, recognizing an Army medic who served during the Vietnam War in a White House ceremony. “Jim, I know I speak for every person here when I say that we are in awe of your actions and your bravery,” Trump said during the ceremony, speaking to the recipient, 71-year-old James McCloughan.
