The White House has confirmed that Deputy White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders would lead an on-camera press briefing at 2:00 p.m. EST on Thursday.

The once daily pressers have become a thing of the past, with reporters typically in the dark over whether they will be held on camera, off camera, or at all.

The briefings have also become increasingly combative in recent days, and today will almost certainly be another fireworks show as Sanders will likely have to deflect questions of President Trump’s explosive new tweets this morning.
