Sean Hannity Returns To Continue Seth Rich Conspiracy Claims Despite Fox Having Retracted The Story [VIDEO]

Mediaite reports:

Sean Hannity returned to his Fox News show Tuesday night, opening his program with an extensive monologue promising updates on the debunked Seth Rich conspiracy theory.

Hannity has pursued the theory that DNC staffer Seth Rich was murdered because of his links to Wikileaks, after Fox 5 published a (now retracted) report alleging the existence of evidence of communication between Rich and the website.

Despite the story’s retraction, push-back from authorities who believe Rich’s murder was a botched robbery, and pleas from Rich’s family to end the baseless speculation, Hannity continued to cover the conspiracy on his show.

After reportedly speaking with the family, Hannity said he would no longer be talking about the conspiracy last week — but on Tuesday’s episode, after returning from a Memorial Day break, Hannity led his show with it.

Yesterday on Gizmodo:

Have you seen that FBI file, purporting to be about the death of DNC staffer Seth Rich? Kim Dotcom, who thrust himself into the story recently by telling Sean Hannity that he had evidence Rich had sent documents to Wikileaks, published the document on Twitter, helping to spread it online.

Dotcom now acknowledges that the document is fake. But he told Gizmodo that he’s not going to delete it. The fake FBI document was first published on a website called Borderland Alternative Media and it wasn’t long before it started to spread on social media, including by Kim Dotcom. Alex Jones’ Prison Planet picked it up, but has since deleted its own version of the story.
